Diversions

Three days left! The suspense is killing me.

In the meantime, we've found a few distractions to help the time go by faster. Last night was Olivia's employee party at work, and she brought me along for companionship. Being a movie theater, the featured entertainment was an early showing of Avatar. Despite my initial misgivings, it was actually quite good, and I wouldn't mind seeing it again. It doesn't have to be especially pagan and anti-American unless you want to watch it that way. It basically took the Pocahontas story to an epic level.

I've also discovered eBay, which has been consuming the greater part of the rest of my time. I have a $5 limit for my recreational spending, but I'm hot on the trail of several fascinating artifacts. My very first conquest, yesterday, was a bran new 10" blue vase with gold fleur de lis for the kitchen; $3.30, free shipping. ;)

Point C

We left Point B last Thursday for Point C, but returned without incident yesterday evening. We met lots of family and had a great time. It's been a little crazy ever since, but I'm hopeful that we can wrest some sort of order from the chaos very soon now that all the major traveling is over with.

Point B

I have left Point A and successfully arrived at Point B yesterday after ten hours on the road. It was very boring, actually, and thankfully uneventful. Now we're assiduously preparing for Christmas, at least a couple homecomings, and the wedding.

David still has two weeks of class left, and I'm sure he could use a few extra prayers to get through his tests. Apparently Sarah could use some as well. It's a rough life out there, and I'm glad I'll only have to manage the domestic side of it.
