Stress Ball

It's that awkward time -- too soon to just leave, and too late to finish everything I planned to do beforehand. Essentially, I'm left with a compromise between the two.

As much as I'm ready to get this show on the road, the thought of leaving home in ten days can be just a little terrifying. I've been telling my friends I feel like a heroin addict, locked away in my room amid the chaotic clutter, completely absorbed in last-minute sewing projects with no conception of the passage of time. Fortunately I have the rest of the week to get my act together before my last days at work.
